If you answer the hint questions correctly then it will send your password to the email address you provide. These hint questions were chosen when you originally set up your account and are typically like "what is your mother's maiden name" or "where did you go to high school."
I normally pick the hint questions that even I don't know the answers (like what model was your first car).
